INDICATION
ENTRID Tablet is useful in many diseases affecting the intestines –
(1) Loose motions (diarrhea) – It is effective in all types of loose motions, whether due to infection, allergy, digestive disturbances, etc.
(2) Dysentery – It is effective in both types of dysentery – (i) Bacillary dysentery – where the patient passes blood mixed stools, and (ii) Amebic dysentery – where the patient passes lots of mucus in the stool.
(3) IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) – It is quite effective in IBS.
(4) Colitis – It is effective in several types of colitis, too, for example, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, Celiac disease, etc. But, it should be given along with other supportive medicines in these conditions.
(5) Piles (Hemorrhoids): ENTRID Tablet is quite effective in reducing the pile mass in bleeding piles, as well as, non-bleeding piles.
HOW TO USE
ADULTS: Start with 2 tablets. Then, if the problem is acute or sever, continue with 2 tablets every 4 or 6 hours for the next 2-3 days. If the condition is mild or moderate, continue with 1-2 tablets three or four times a day, until the condition comes within control. Thereafter, reduce the dose to 1 tablet two or three times a day.
CHILDREN (6.9 yrs): Start with 1 tablet. Then according to the severity of the condition, continue with 1/2 -1 tablet twice / thrice a day. To be swallowed with water, just after/within meals. In children, crush and administer with honey, water, milk, fruit juice.
